Monochromatic Mood Swing

Sometimes I get the urge to remove all colour from my decorating. Something about the crispness of pure black and white is so appealing. Then, I start thinking about incorporating one or two little bits of colour and the next thing you know, colour and pattern have exploded all over the place. I'm just too drawn to brightness and cheer to pull off monochromaticity in real life. Just for today, though, we can pretend. Here are some of my favourite inspiration images:
